Privacy notice

Your profile and your privacy.

This is a provisional notice for development and an invited pilot. It must be finalized with the operator’s contact details, retention periods, and applicable jurisdiction before public launch.

Information collected

GAP stores your account name, email, account acknowledgements, and the education, experience, objectives, budget, and preferences you submit. Do not enter government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive information in free-text answers.

How it is used

Your information supports your account and academic planning profile. Authentication and database services are provided by Supabase. Account verification and recovery require email delivery. Authorized administrators can access profiles for administration after additional authentication.

Pathway reports and AI

When AI reporting is configured and you request a report, a separate notice asks you to agree to sharing selected education, experience and study-preference fields with the named provider. Account name, email, institution names from your education history, uploaded documents and free-form goal essays are excluded. Study-field and professional-area text may still contain personal details you entered. Do not include sensitive information there. Without configuration and your agreement, this application does not send a report request to an AI provider.

Saved reports include a private snapshot of the selected profile fields and verified catalog facts. During public beta you can securely read your own complete reports and download them as PDFs for free. PDF downloads use the saved report without another AI request. Authorized administrators with additional authentication can review complete reports for quality and support. Keep downloaded reports private; they are outside the application’s access controls once saved on your device. Document uploads and payments are not active.

Access and deletion

You can review and edit your saved answers. During the invited pilot, contact the operator through the channel used for your invitation for account access or deletion requests. Deleting an account removes its associated profile and report records. The operator must finalize retention, international transfers and the selected provider’s data handling before enabling live reporting for real students.
